Morning Service for Shabbat

(Note: This is a recommended service, move as the Holy Spirit leads)

Opening Prayer: Invitation for the Father and the Son to be with us and the Holy Spirit.

(Reader)

How goodly are your tents, O Jacob, you dwelling places, O Israel! Through Your great mercy Father, We come to You and bow down in awe of You. O, Adonai, we love being close to You and abiding in Your glory. And so we bow down and adore You, Abba, my Creator. May our prayer be offered at an acceptable time, may You, in the greatness of Your mercy, answer according to Your faithfulness.

(Praise and Worship songs insert here or where ever)

The soul which You, Father, have given me came pure from You. You created it and You have breathed it into us. While the breath of life is within us, we will worship You, Sovereign of the world and Adonai of all souls. Praise unto to You, O YHVH, in whose hands are the souls of all the living.

Adonai of all, not in reliance on our own merit do we lay our supplications before You, but trusting in Your infinite mercy and grace. For what are we, what is our life, what is our goodness and what is our power? What can we say in Your presence? Are not all mighty men as nothing before You and those of great renown as though they have never been; the wisest as without knowledge and men of understanding as without discernment? Many of our works are vain and our days pass away like a shadow. Our life would be altogether vanity and emptiness were it not for the soul You fashioned within us in Your image and the blood of Your Son that allows us to come into Your presence. You, through Your Son

Yeshua and His blood, and the indwelling of the Ruach HaKodesh gives us assurance of our higher destiny and imparts to our fleeting days an abiding value.

Help us, Abba, through the Ruach HaKodesh; banish from our hearts all vain-glory, pride of worldly possessions and self sufficient leaning upon our own reason. Fill us totally, through the Holy Spirit, with the spirit of meekness and the grace of modesty that we may grow in wisdom in your Torah and draw even closer to You. May we never forget that all we have and prize is but lent to us, a trust for which we must render account to You. O heavenly Father, put into our hearts the love and awe of You that we may consecrate our lives to Your service and glorify Your name in the eyes and hearts of all men.

(Reader and Congregation)

May it be Your will, O Adonai our YHVH, to Lead us in Your ways and that Your name may be honored and Israel be blessed by our actions. May we walk according to Your Torah and remain firm in our love for You through Yeshua, so that we never fall into temptation or bring shame upon You or ourselves. May the Holy Spirit always guide us to discharge our duties faithfully and with a willing heart. Gird us with strength to govern our inclinations in accordance with Your will. Grant O Abba that our conduct will always be a beacon for others that points to You and our Savior so all may see Your glory.

Read Psalm 92 here

(Reader)

Your everlasting arms, O Adonai, uphold all creation. You are our unfailing help. Darkness does not conceal You from the eye of the faithful nor do the forces of destruction obscure Your presence. Above the fury of man and the raging of the tempest You stand. Trusting in You we do not

fear the arrows of ill fortune that fly by day nor the pestilence that stalks by night. When pain and sorrow try our souls, grant us the courage to meet them with hearts undismayed and with faith that does not waver or question. Show us not to close our eyes to the evils that beset our path, help us turn them into stepping stones that bring us closer to you. Amid tears and tribulations allow us to feel our joy in You and see the reassuring vision of Your goodness. Amen

(Reader and Congregation) Psalm 23

(Reader or someone from the Congregation)

Psalm 111

Psalm 121-122-123

(Reader and Congregation)

You, Adonai, have endowed us with the Holy Spirit to distinguish right from wrong and You have given us the free will to choose between good and evil. Though Your greatness is beyond our understanding, You are near to the hearts of the meek that seek You and who strive to do your will. Teach us through the Holy Spirit to be firm in our devotion to You in health and in sickness, in prosperity and adversity. May Your Torah ever be a light to us as we go about our daily life. Help us through the Holy Spirit to live in harmony with our dear ones and work in peace and accord with all others. Amen

Praised are You, O Adonai our G-d, Ruler of the world, who in Your mercy makes light to shine over the earth and all of its inhabitants and renews daily the work of creation. How manifold are Your works, O Adonai. In wisdom have you created all. The heavens declare Your glory. The earth reveals Your creative power. You form light and darkness, You ordain good out of evil, bring harmony into nature and peace to the heart of man.

Great has been Your love for us and Your compassion boundless. Be gracious unto us that we may understand and fulfill the teachings of your Torah. Enlighten our eyes in Your Torah that we may cling to Your commandments. Unite our hearts to love and revere You, join us together in the Body of our Beloved Lord and Savior Yeshua. We trust in You and rejoice in Your saving power for from You through Yeshua comes our only help. You have called us and drawn us close to You to serve You and be faithful to You. Joyfully do we lift up our voices and proclaim Your unity. Praised are You O G-d, who in Your love has called Your people Israel to serve You.

(Stand up)

Praised be His name whose glorious kingdom is forever and ever.

You will love the L-rd, your G-d, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might. And these words which I command you this day shall be upon your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and speak of them as you sit in your house, when you walk along your way, when you lie down and when you get up. You shall bind them as a sign upon your hand and they shall be frontlets before your eyes. You shall write them upon the door posts of your house and upon your gates: That you may remember and do all of My Torah and be holy unto your G-d.

(Reader and Congregation)

We sanctify Your name on earth as the heavens declare Your glory and in the words of the prophet we say:

קדוש קדוש קדוש יהוה צבאות. מלא כל-הארץ כבודו.

Kadosh, Kadosh Kadosh, Adonai Tzvaoat. Milo col haaretz kavodo.

Holy, Holy, Holy is the L-rd of hosts; the whole earth is full of His Glory.

(Reader and Congregation)

The L-rd will reign forever, your G-d, O Zion, from generation to generation and forever more. Halleluyah.

(Sit)

(Reader)

From generation to generation we declare Your greatness and throughout all ages proclaim You holiness. Your praise shall never cease from our lips. The name Yeshua will be as honey on our lips. Praises to You O L-rd, the G-d of all that is Holy. Amen

(Reader, note, insert here what ever, this is a suggestion)

Again has come the day which bids us lay aside the burden of care and the anxiety of the daily tasks. You have commanded us to work that we may have free ourselves from that bondage of nature in which all other creatures on earth are held. But in the struggle for mastery over things material, we often forget the divine purpose You have appointed for our life. Driven for the desire for gain or the longing for pleasure, we become enslaved, fettered by new

wants, oppressed by new burdens. Therefore have You, Father, in Your love appointed for us a day of rest, that in Your presence we may regain that freedom that comes from following the Holy Spirit and in obedience to Your Torah. Quickened by the Holy Spirit may we learn how to dedicate all things of the earth to Your sanctity and Your service.

He who has worked faithfully during the week and has worked to Your glory will enjoy the delight of the Shabbat and Your presence.

In this spirit, Father, we keep the Shabbat that You have sanctified for us and created for us. May the blessings of the Shabbat gladden our hearts and inspire us to bring even more glory to You and Yeshua. Strengthen us Abba and grant that new courage, new faith, new power may descend upon us and all who strive to do Your will and walk Your Holy Highway. Amen.

(Reader and Congregation)

Our G-d and G-d of our fathers, grant that our worship on Shabbat be acceptable to You. May we, who are sanctified by following the Word of the Father and faith in Yeshua our Messiah receive the blessings of Your Torah. Teach us to be satisfied with the gifts of Your goodness and gratefully to receive Your mercy and grace. Purify our hearts that we may serve the truth. Help us to preserve the Shabbat as our

heritage from generation to generation, that it may ever bring us rest and joy, peace and comfort in our dwellings and through it Your name be hallowed in all the nations. Praised be You, Abba, who has sanctified the Shabbat.

(Reader)

Look with favor, Father, upon us and our service be acceptable to You. Praised are You, Abba, Praised be You Yeshua, whom alone we serve in reverence.

(Reader and Congregation)

We gratefully acknowledge, Abba, You are our creator and preserver, the rock of our life and the shield of our help. We render thanks to you Abba for our lives which are in Your hands. We thank You Father for sending Your Son and the gift of the Holy Spirit. We thank You for our souls which are forever in Your keeping. We thank You for providing, we thank You for the continuous blessings and goodness You bestow on us every day. Truly, Your mercies never fail and You love and loving kindness never cease. We forever commit our trust to You.

(Reader)

Grant us peace, Your most precious gift You who are the source of all peace and enable us to be it’s messengers unto all the peoples of the earth. Strengthen the bonds of friendship and fellowship between those who are walking Your Holy Highway. Bring us together as one. Praised are You Father, giver of peace through Yeshua. Amen

(Take 2-4 minutes of silent Prayer)

Abba, keep my tongue from evil and my lips from speaking wrongly. Be my support when grief silences my voice, be my comfort when sorrow bends my spirit. Implant humility in my soul and strengthen my heart with perfect faith in You. Help me to be strong in temptation and trial and to be patient and forgiving when others wrong me. Guide me through the Holy Spirit that I may forever find my strength in You. My rock and my redeemer through Yeshua.

May the words of my mouth and the mediations of my heart be acceptable in Your site, Abba, my rock and redeemer.

Message here or Torah explanation

(Reader and Congregation)

Let us adore the ever living Father and Yeshua, render praise to Yah who spread out the heavens and established the earth, whose glory is revealed in the heavens above whose greatness is manifest through out the world. He is our Father, there is none else. We bow our head in reverence and worship the King of Kings, the Holy One praised be He.

(Reader)

May the time not be distant Father when Your name shall be worshipped through out all the earth, when unbelief shall disappear and error be no more. We fervently pray that the day will come when all men shall invoke Your name and the Name of Your Son, Yeshua. When corruption and evil shall give way to purity and goodness, when superstition shall no longer enslave the mind nor idolatry blind the eye, when all

who dwell on earth shall know that to You alone every knee will bow and every tongue give homage. May all, created in Your image recognize that they are brethren united together as one new man in the body of the Messiah.

On that day Adonai shall be one and His name shall be One.

(Hold up in prayer any who have lost loved ones)
