Exodus 35:1-38:20; 1Kings 7:13-26; 1 Corinthians 9:1-15; Hebrews Chap 12
Remember this is the command (Keeping His Sabbath not your own manmade one) that He says is a sign (relationship) between us and Him forever! The question must really be answered- are we grafted into Israel as Sha’ul (Paul) spoke: (Gal 3:29) and if you are of Messiah, then you are seed of Aḇraham, and heirs according to promise. (Rom 11:17) And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, have been grafted in among them, and came to share the root and fatness of the olive tree, (Rom 11:18) do not boast against the branches. And if you boast, remember: you do not bear the root, but the root bears you! Finally remember; (Rom 11:22) See then the kindness and sharpness of Elohim: on those who fell sharpness, but toward you kindness, if you continue in His kindness, otherwise you also shall be cut off. (Rom 11:23) And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, shall be grafted in, for Elohim is able to graft them in again. (Rom 11:24) For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree, how much more shall these who are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? (Rom 11:25) For I do not wish you to be ignorant of this secret, brothers, lest you should be wise in your own estimation, that hardening in part has come over Yisra’ĕl, until the completeness of the gentiles1 has come in. Footnote: 1Gen. 48:19. (Rom 11:26) And so all Yisra’ĕl shall be saved, as it has been written, “The Deliverer shall come out of Tsiyon, and He shall turn away wickedness from Yaʽaqoḇ, (Rom 11:27) and this is my covenant with them, (that’s US) when I take away their sins.”1 Footnote: 1Isa. 59:20-21.
Sabbaths are of Vital Importance!
(Exodus 31:13) “And you, speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘My Sabbaths you are to guard, by all means, for it is a sign1 between Me and you throughout your generations, to know that I, יהוה, am setting you apart. Footnote: 1The only sign of יהוה setting us apart, the only sign of the everlasting covenant, is His Sabbaths, one of them being the seventh day Sabbath. This is repeated in Ezek. 20:12 & 20. (Exodus 31:14) ‘And you shall guard the Sabbath, for it is set-apart to you. Everyone who profanes it shall certainly be put to death, for anyone who does work on it, that being shall be cut off from among his people. (Exodus 31:15) ‘Six days work is done, and on the seventh is a Sabbath of rest, set-apart to יהוה. Everyone doing work on the Sabbath day shall certainly be put to death. (Exodus 31:16) ‘The children of Yisra’ĕl shall guard the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as an everlasting covenant. (Exodus 31:17) ‘Between Me and the children of Yisra’ĕl it is a sign forever. In six days יהוה made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’ ” (Exodus 31:18) and when He had ended speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Mosheh two tablets of the Witness, tablets of stone, written with the finger of Elohim.
(Exodus 35:1) And Mosheh assembled all the congregation of the children of Yisra’ĕl, and said to them, “These are the Words which יהוה has commanded you to do: (Exodus 35:2) “Work is done for six days, but on the seventh day it shall be set-apart to you, a Sabbath of rest to יהוה. Anyone doing work on it is put to death. (Exodus 35:3) “Do not kindle a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.” (Exodus 35:4) And Mosheh spoke to all the congregation of the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, “This is the word which יהוה commanded, saying, (Exodus 35:5) ‘Take from among you a contribution to יהוה. Everyone whose heart so moves him, let him bring it as a contribution to יהוה: gold, and silver, and bronze, (Exodus 35:6) and blue, and purple, and scarlet material, and fine linen, and goats’ hair, (Exodus 35:7) and ram skins dyed red, and fine leather, and acacia wood, (Exodus 35:8) and oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense, (Exodus 35:9) and shoham stones, and stones to be set in the shoulder garment and in the breastplate. (Exodus 35:10) ‘And let all the wise-hearted among you come and make all that יהוה has commanded: (Exodus 35:11) the Dwelling Place, its tent and its covering, its hooks and its boards, its bars, its columns, and its sockets, (Exodus 35:12) the ark and its poles, the lid of atonement and the veil of the covering, (Exodus 35:13) the table and its poles, and all its utensils, and the showbread, (Exodus 35:14) and the lampstand for the light, and its utensils, and its lamps, and the oil for the light, (Exodus 35:15) and the incense altar, and its poles, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the covering for the door at the entrance of the Dwelling Place, (Exodus 35:16) the altar of burnt offering with its bronze grating, its poles, and all its utensils, the basin and its stand, (Exodus 35:17) the screens of the courtyard, its columns, and their sockets, and the covering for the gate of the courtyard, (Exodus 35:18) the pegs of the Dwelling Place, and the pegs of the courtyard, and their cords, (Exodus 35:19) the woven garments to do service in the set-apart place, the set-apart garments for Aharon the priest and the garments of his sons to serve as priests.’ ” (Exodus 35:20) and all the congregation of the children of Yisra’ĕl withdrew from the presence of Mosheh. (Exodus 35:21) And everyone whose heart lifted him up and everyone whose spirit moved him came, and they brought the contribution to יהוה for the work of the Tent of Meeting, and for all its service, and for the set-apart garments. (Exodus 35:22) And they came, both men and women, all whose hearts moved them, and brought earrings and nose rings, and rings and necklaces, all golden goods, even everyone who made a wave offering of gold to יהוה. (Exodus 35:23) And every man, with whom was found blue and purple and scarlet material, and fine linen, and goats’ hair, and rams’ skins dyed red, and fine leather, brought them. (Exodus 35:24) Everyone who would make a contribution to יהוה of silver or bronze brought it. And everyone with who was found acacia wood for any work of the service brought it. (Exodus 35:25) And all the wise-hearted women spun yarn with their hands, and brought what they had spun, the blue and the purple, the scarlet material, and the fine linen. (Exodus 35:26) And all the women whose hearts lifted them up in wisdom spun the goats’ hair. (Exodus 35:27) And the rulers brought shoham stones, and the stones to be set in the shoulder garment and in the breastplate, (Exodus 35:28) and the spices and the oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense. (Exodus 35:29) The children of Yisra’ĕl brought a voluntary offering to יהוה, all the men and women whose hearts moved them to bring all kinds of work which יהוה, by the hand of Mosheh, had commanded to be done. (Exodus 35:30) And Mosheh said to the children of Yisra’ĕl, “See, יהוה has called by name Betsal’ĕl son of Uri, son of Ḥur, of the tribe of Yehuḏah, (Exodus 35:31) and He has filled him with the Spirit of Elohim, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all work, (Exodus 35:32) to make designs, to work in gold and in silver and in bronze, (Exodus 35:33) and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving wood, and to work in all workmanship of design. (Exodus 35:34) “And He has put in his heart the ability to teach, in him and Oholiaḇ son of Aḥisamaḵ, of the tribe of Dan. (Exodus 35:35) “He has filled them with skill to do all work of the engraver and the designer and embroiderer, in blue and in purple, in scarlet material, and in fine linen, and a weaver, doing any work, and makers of designs.
Wisdom and Understanding - (Pro 4:7) Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
(Exodus 36:1) “And Betsal’ĕl and Oholiaḇ, and every wise-hearted man in whom יהוה has given wisdom and understanding, to know how to do all work for the service of the set-apart place, shall do according to all that יהוה has commanded.” (Exodus 36:2) And Mosheh called Betsal’ĕl and Oholiaḇ, and every wise-hearted man in whose heart יהוה had given wisdom, everyone whose heart lifted him up, to come and do the work. (Exodus 36:3) And they received from Mosheh all the contribution which the children of Yisra’ĕl had brought for the work of the service of making the set-apart place. But they still brought to him voluntary offerings every morning, (Exodus 36:4) so all the craftsmen who were doing all the work of the set-apart place came, each from the work he was doing, (Exodus 36:5) and they spoke to Mosheh, saying, “The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work which יהוה commanded us to do.” (Exodus 36:6) Then Mosheh commanded and they sent this word throughout the camp, saying, “Let neither man nor woman do any more work for the contribution of the set-apart place.” And the people were withheld from bringing, (Exodus 36:7) for what they had was enough for all the work to be done, more than enough. (Exodus 36:8) Then all the wise-hearted ones among them who worked on the Dwelling Place made ten curtains woven of fine linen and blue and purple and scarlet material. They made them with keruḇim, the work of a skilled workman. (Exodus 36:9) The length of each curtain was twenty-eight cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits, all the curtains having one measure. (Exodus 36:10) And he joined five curtains, one to another; and the other five curtains he joined, one to another. (Exodus 36:11) And he made loops of blue on the edge of the end curtain of one set, the same he did on the edge of the end curtain of the other set. (Exodus 36:12) Fifty loops he made on one curtain, and fifty loops he made on the edge of the end curtain of the second set; the loops held one curtain to another. (Exodus 36:13) And he made fifty hooks of gold, and joined the curtains to each other with the hooks, and the Dwelling Place became one. (Exodus 36:14) And he made curtains of goats’ hair for the tent over the Dwelling Place, he made eleven curtains. (Exodus 36:15) The length of each curtain was thirty cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits, the eleven curtains having one measure. (Exodus 36:16) And he joined five curtains by themselves and six curtains by themselves. (Exodus 36:17) And he made fifty loops on the edge of the end curtain in one set, and fifty loops he made on the edge of the curtain of the second set. (Exodus 36:18) And he made fifty bronze hooks to join the tent, to be one. (Exodus 36:19) And he made a covering for the tent of rams’ skins, dyed red, and a covering of fine leather above that. (Exodus 36:20) And for the Dwelling Place he made boards of acacia wood, standing up. (Exodus 36:21) The length of each board was ten cubits, and the width of each board a cubit and a half. (Exodus 36:22) Each board had two tenons for binding one to another. So he did to all the boards of the Dwelling Place. (Exodus 36:23) And he made boards for the Dwelling Place, twenty boards for the south side. (Exodus 36:24) And he made forty sockets of silver to go under the twenty boards, and two sockets under each of the boards for its two tenons. (Exodus 36:25) And for the other side of the Dwelling Place, for the north side, he made twenty boards, (Exodus 36:26) and their forty sockets of silver, two sockets under the one board, and two sockets under the other board. (Exodus 36:27) And he made six boards for the west side of the Dwelling Place. (Exodus 36:28) And he made two boards for the two back corners of the Dwelling Place. (Exodus 36:29) And they were double beneath, and similarly they were complete to the top by one ring. So he did to both of them for the two corners. (Exodus 36:30) And there were eight boards, and their silver sockets, sixteen sockets, two sockets under each of the boards. (Exodus 36:31) And he made bars of acacia wood, five for the boards on one side of the Dwelling Place, (Exodus 36:32) and five bars for the boards on the other side of the Dwelling Place, and five bars for the boards of the Dwelling Place at the rear, westward. (Exodus 36:33) And he made the middle bar to pass through the boards from one end to the other. (Exodus 36:34) And he overlaid the boards with gold, and their rings he made of gold to be holders for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold. (Exodus 36:35) And he made a veil of blue and purple and scarlet material, and fine worked linen. It was made with keruḇim, the work of a skilled workman. (Exodus 36:36) And he made four columns of acacia wood for it, and overlaid them with gold, with their hooks of gold. And he cast four sockets of silver for them. (Exodus 36:37) And he made a covering for the Tent door of blue and purple and scarlet material and fine woven linen, made by a weaver, (Exodus 36:38) and its five columns with their hooks. And he overlaid their tops and their rings with gold, but their five sockets were of bronze.

Note our theme below is YHWH giving wisdom and understanding for His purposes: (Jas 1:5) if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of Elohim, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it shall be given to him. (Jas 1:6) But he should ask in belief, not doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
(1Ki 7:13) And Sovereign Shelomoh sent and brought Ḥiram from Tsor. (1Ki 7:14) He was the son of a widow from the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tsor, a bronze worker. And he was filled with wisdom and understanding and skill in working with all kinds of bronze work. So he came to Sovereign Shelomoh and did all his work. (1Ki 7:15) And he cast two columns of bronze, each one eighteen cubits high, and a line of twelve cubits measured the circumference of each. (1Ki 7:16) And he made two capitals of cast bronze, to put on the tops of the columns – the height of one capital was five cubits, and the height of the other capital was five cubits – (1Ki 7:17) a lattice network, with wreaths of chain work, for the capitals which were on top of the columns, seven chains for one capital and seven for the other capital. (1Ki 7:18) And he made the columns, and two rows of pomegranates above the network all around to cover the capitals that were on top, and so he did for the other capital. (1Ki 7:19) And the capitals that were on top of the columns in the hall were in the shape of lilies, four cubits. (1Ki 7:20) And there were capitals above also on the two columns, by the bulge which was next to the network. And the pomegranates were two hundred, in rows on each of the capitals all around. (1Ki 7:21) And he set up the columns by the porch of the hĕḵal. And he set up the column on the right and called its name Yaḵin, and he set up the column on the left and called its name Boʽaz. (1Ki 7:22) And on the top of the columns was lily work. Thus the work of the columns was completed. (1Ki 7:23) And he made the Sea of cast metal, ten cubits from one rim to the other, round all about, and five cubits high, and a line of thirty cubits measured around it. (1Ki 7:24) And below its rim were ornaments all around, ten to a cubit, all the way around the Sea. The ornaments were cast in two rows when it was cast. (1Ki 7:25) It stood on twelve oxen, three facing north, and three facing west, and three facing south, and three facing east. And the Sea was set upon them, and all their back parts were inward. (1Ki 7:26) And it was a handbreadth thick, and its rim was shaped like the rim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It held two thousand baths.
Remember also that as long as there is a heaven and earth His promise is- we will have seedtime and harvest! That means even food during famine!
(2Co 9:1) Indeed, concerning the service to the set-apart ones, it is unnecessary for me to write to you; (2Co 9:2) for I know your eagerness, about which I boast of you to the Makedonians, that Achaia was ready a year ago. And your ardor has stirred up most of them. (2Co 9:3) But I sent the brothers, lest our boasting on behalf of you should be made empty in this part, in order that, as I said, you were ready, (2Co 9:4) lest if some Makedonians come with me and find you not ready, we – not to speak of you – should be put to shame because of our belief. (2Co 9:5) So I thought it necessary to appeal to the brothers to come to you in advance, and arrange your promised blessing beforehand – this to be ready as a blessing and not as greediness. (2Co 9:6) And this: He who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly, and he who sows on blessing shall also reap on blessing. (2Co 9:7) Let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not of grief or of necessity, for Elohim loves a joyous giver. (2Co 9:8) And Elohim is able to make all favor overflow toward you, that you, always having all you need in every way, have plenty for every good work. (2Co 9:9) As it has been written, “He scattered abroad, He gave to the poor, and His righteousness remains forever.” (2Co 9:10) And He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, shall supply and increase the seed you have sown and increase the fruit of your righteousness, (2Co 9:11) being enriched in every way for all simplicity, which works out thanksgiving to Elohim through us. (2Co 9:12) Because the rendering of this service not only supplies the needs of the set-apart ones, but also is overflowing through many thanksgivings to Elohim. (2Co 9:13) Through the proof of this service, they esteem Elohim on the submission of your confession to the Good News of Messiah, and generosity in sharing with them and all men, (2Co 9:14) and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding favor of Elohim in you. (2Co 9:15) Thanks also to Elohim for His unspeakable gift!
